Arezhan

Arenzhan , Arzhan (XIX century) - kyushi . Born in Western Kazakhstan . The kuy of Arenzhan “ Shalgyma ” has survived . The musical dimensions of this cuy differ from others in the light rhythm, a simple melody - fast and cheerful. On the basis of this cuy, the “Fishermen’s Chorus” was created in the opera by E. G. Brusilovsky “ Dudarai ”, B. Baikadamov’s choir chapel, and I. Velikanov’s musical piece for pop orchestra. The audio recording of the kyuya “Shalgyma” was first performed by the People's Artist of Kazakhstan L. Mukhitov.
