Kolp - a river in the Leningrad and Vologda regions of Russia , the right tributary of the Souda River (the Volga basin).

The length is 254 kilometers, the basin area is 3,730 kmΒ², the average water discharge 30 kilometers from the mouth is 25.2 mΒ³.
The town of Babayevo is located on the river - the center of the Babayevsky district of the Vologda region .
Kolp flows from Lake Ekshozero on the Vepsovskaya Upland in the east of the Leningrad Region. The height of the source - 213 m above sea level. In the upstream, it flows quickly to the southeast through unpopulated forest terrain, crosses the western border of the Vologda region, then turns to the west, enters the Leningrad region, where it receives the Krupen river from the right and extends to 30-40 meters. In the upper and middle part of the river the current is fast, there are rocky rapids.
Downstream Kolp turns to the south-east and re-enters the territory of the Vologda region. In the middle and lower reaches of the riverbed passes near the railway St. Petersburg - Vologda . In the lower reaches goes to the Sheksna lowland, the speed drops, the river begins to form steep bends, backwaters, old women.
Kolp flows into Suda near the village of Ust-Kolp, Kaduy district , 20 km above the village of Kadui and 57 km from the mouth of the Courts.
