Description
Zelenoyarsk reservoir is designed to accumulate water from the CCM for the smooth operation of the NS-3 .
It is located 4.2 km from the mouth in the valley of the low-water beam Zeleny Yar , which flows into the Kazantip Bay . The pool area is 42.2 km².
It is filled through a water tunnel, which is a continuation of the North Crimean canal and is located between PK 3664 + 01 and PK 3671 + 57. [2]

History
It was commissioned in 1975.
After the construction of the Front Reservoir in 1978, a cascade of three reservoirs began to operate: Front → Zelenoyarsk → Kerch.
In May 2016, it was decided to clean the bottom, which would additionally give 700-800 thousand m³. [3]
In the dry year of 2018, Zelenoyarskoye turned out to be the first in terms of filling from bulk reservoirs, 2.358 million m³ were received into it. [four]
