Geography
Big Shaplak is located 3 km from the administrative center of the rural settlement - the village of Shoibulak .
History
It was first mentioned in the list of villages of Tsarevokokshaysky district in 1795 as the village of Shoplak. In 1931, the Shemer Viy collective farm was created. [four]
