Biography
Born March 30, 1911 in the village of Ipacrai, Paraguay. On April 16, 1938 he was ordained a priest to serve in the Archdiocese of Asuncion.
On December 1, 1955, Pope Pius XII appointed Ramon Pastor Bogarin Argan as auxiliary bishop of Asuncion and titular bishop of Bagis. On January 19, 1955, the bishop was ordained by the Archbishop of Asuncion, Juan Jose Anibal Mena Port , accompanied by the Bishop of Concepcion Emilio Sosa Gaona and the Bishop of Villarrica del Espiritu Santo Augustine Rodriguez.
Participated in the Second Vatican Council .
From 1970 to 1973, he chaired the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Paraguay .
He died on September 3, 1957.
