To Those Left Behind (from English - “To those left behind”) is the fifth studio album of the metalcore band Blessthefall , released on September 18, 2015 via Fearless Records . Two singles came out of the album: the first one, “Up in Flames”, was released during the band’s participation in the Vans Warped Tour 2015 , July 9, 2015; the second, “Walk on Water” - August 9, 2015.

Content
History
In April 2015, the group announced the start of work on the fifth album in the studio with Joey Sturgis [3] . In June, during the Warped Tour 2015, they announced that the album would be released on September 18 via Fearless Records . Describing the album, the frontman of the group, Bou Bocan, said: “ With our group we are constantly trying to surpass ourselves, to go up a step above each recording. With this new album we made a huge fucking leap forward and are at the peak, as musicians and songwriters. We are looking forward to where our album will lead us ” [4] . It was announced that those who bought the album through the Merchnow website will receive a bonus track: the acoustic version of the song “Condition // Comatose” [5] .

The album was received positive critics. Critics praised the technical aspects of the album, although they noted that the album was absolutely predictable, there is nothing new in it. In his review for Alternative Press, Tyler Davidson writes: “... blessthefall definitely knows how to double each element and crystallize the dichotomy in such a way that it simultaneously responds to the genre and feels fresh enough to create a lasting impression” [3] . In his more restrained review for HM Magazine, Tyler Weston wrote: “Glory to them for the fact that their latest album did not enter the routine of metalcore. This is not a watershed album, but a steady process of gradual improvement in their work, which has been going on for more than a decade, is visible ” [7] . In a more favorable review for Outburn , Nathaniel Ley describes the album as “a first-class example of metalcore” [8] .
The album was put on the 39th place in the list of the 50 best releases of 2015 according to the Rock Sound magazine [9] .
