Damyanov, Damyan

There is an erroneous opinion that Damyan Damyanov was born on January 13 because of a typo in the book "Notebook for all" (" Notebook for all the ") in 1984 . In 1949, the first poems of Damianov were published in the newspaper “Sliven Business” (“ Sliven Business ”).

In 1953, Damyanov graduated from a gymnasium in Sliven, and in 1961 - Sofia University with a degree in Bulgarian philology . He worked as a literary consultant in the newspaper “Narodnaya Molodyozh” (“ Narodna Mladezh ”) and as an editor in the journal “Poetry”.

In 1963, the book “Let the window open wide” was translated into Russian . Many works of Damianov were translated into Russian , Belarusian , Ukrainian , Hungarian and other languages.

Damianova’s wife is a poet Nadezhda Zakhariev (born in 1944). From her Damyanova had three children.

On June 6, 1999, at the age of 64, Damyan Damyanov died at the Sofia Military Medical Academy ^[1] .
