Orthodox. Hereditary nobleman. Landowner of Maloarkhangelsk district (240 dessiatines ).
At the end of the 3rd Military Alexander School in 1880, he was released as an officer in the 28th Artillery Brigade , where he served until 1885.
Having left the reserve with the rank of lieutenant, he began to conduct intensive farming on his estate. He owned a distillery. From 1890 he was elected the vowel of the county, and from 1894 the provincial zemstvo assembly . In 1891-1906 he was the zemstvo head of the 6th section of the Maloarkhangelsk district, and then - an indispensable member of the county land management commission. Of the awards he had the Order of St. Anne of the 3rd degree and St. Stanislav 2nd degree (1903), as well as a medal in memory of the 1897 census . In addition, he was an honorary magistrate (since 1906) and an honorary trustee of the Droskovo fire brigade. He was a member of the Union on October 17 .
In 1907 he was elected a member of the III State Duma from the Oryol province. He was a member of the Octobrist faction, from the 3rd session - in the group of right-wing Octobrists. He was a member of the commissions: land, resettlement, agricultural, judicial affairs and budget.
In 1917 he sent a greeting to the State Duma in connection with the victory of the February Revolution . The further fate is unknown. Was married.
