Geography
The village is located in the forest-steppe within the Baraba Lowland , related to the West Siberian Plain. In the vicinity of the village preserved aspen-birch pegs [2] . Common meadow-chernozemic solonetzic and solonchak soils [3] . The height of the center of the village is 109 meters above sea level [4] .
By road, the village is located 22 km from the district center of the village of Kormilovka and 68 km from the regional center of Omsk [5] . The nearest railway station is located in the village of Kormilovka .
The climate is temperate continental (according to the classification of Köppen-Geiger climates - type Dfb ). The average annual temperature is positive and amounts to + 1.0 ° C, the average temperature of the coldest month of January is 18.1 ° C, the hottest month of July is + 19.5 ° C. The long-term rainfall is 383 mm, the highest rainfall in July is 63 mm, the smallest in March - 13 mm [4]

History
In 1893, exiled Lobov Dmitry Pavlovich substantiated his capture. In 1895, a resettlement site was formed in the area of the Lobov settlement. In 1896, the first settlers arrived. In 1898, the construction of the church began (operated until 1932). In 1914, a parish school was built with public money [7] .
In 1917, a revolutionary committee was created in Lobovka. In the civil war, many men went to the Red Army, others were mobilized into the white army of Kolchak. Soviet power was established in 1920. Lobovka was renamed Housewarming [7] .
In 1923, a peasant cooperative was organized in the village and the first store was opened. In 1924-1984, a mill operated, in 1927 an oil factory was opened. In 1929, a commune was created in Housewarming. In 1931 a collective farm was organized. In different years, the collective farm was called: "Second Bolshevik sowing", named after Beria, named after Malenkov, named after the 21st Congress of the CPSU [7] .
In 1992, the collective farm named after the 21st Congress of the CPSU was transformed into the joint-stock company Novoselskoye, then into the AOZT Novoselskoye, SEC Novoselskoye, and since 2002 - SEC Niva [7] .
