The medal “In commemoration of the Cossack deputation in St. Petersburg in 1763” is a medal that was awarded in 1763 by the ataman of the Zaporizhzhya Army, Gregory Fedorov . In 1763, the Cossack delegation visited St. Petersburg to resolve boundary disputes between the Russian government and the Zaporizhzhya army. [1] The medal is round, minted in gold. The medal shows the profile of Catherine II , the coat of arms of the Russian Empire . The medal was 65 mm. in diameter and worn on the St. Andrew ribbon .
