Stampa ( Italian: Stampa ) is a village and former commune in Switzerland in the Bregaglia Valley, canton of Graubünden . The population was 595 people in 2008. The official code is 3775 . On January 1, 2010, together with the communes of Vicosoprano , Castazenia , Bondo and Sollo, it became part of the new commune of Bregaglia , Maloia region [1] .

In the elections in 2007, the Swiss People's Party received the largest number of votes (57.2%), 2.6% voted for the Christian Democratic People's Party of Switzerland , 22.5% voted for the Social Democratic Party of Switzerland , 16 for the Free Democratic Party , 2% [2] .

Geographical position
Before the merger, Stampa's area was 94.82 km². 14.2% of the area was agricultural land, 18.8% - forests, 0.8% of the territory was inhabited, 66.1% were occupied by natural objects [2] .
History
The commune was first mentioned in 1354 as Stamppa [3] . On January 1, 2010, the communes of Vicosoprano, Bondo, Castazenia , Stampa and Soljo merged into the new commune of Bregaglia .
Population
In 2008, the population of Stump was 595 people (48.4% of men, 51.6% of women) [4] . In 2000, 27.68% of the inhabitants spoke German, 1.88% spoke Romansh, and 66.10% spoke Italian [2] . 12.2% of the population were under the age of 9 years, 11.5% - from 10 to 19 years old, 7.7% - from 20 to 29 years old, 13.2% - from 30 to 39 years old, 15.8% - from 40 to 49 years old, 13.4% - from 50 to 59 years old, over 60 years old there were 26.2% of the population [5] . In 2005, the unemployment rate was 1.71% [2] .

Palazzo Castellmur
In Stamp, there is the Palazzo Castellmur (Castelmur), bought by the municipality from the owners in 1961 and turned into a museum. The original building was built by the aristocratic Redolfi family in 1723, and by 1854 it was rebuilt by the new owner Giovanni Castelmuir (1800–1871) into a castle in the Venetian-Lombard style [6] .
