Description
The lake has a suffusion origin [7] .
The only river flows into the lake - Donovka . On the eastern shore of the lake is the village of Novonikolskaya . To the west of Bolshoi Donki Lake is Khokhly Lake. To the south - lakes Ugovoe and Big Gorky [8] .
Fauna
Big Donkey Lake is used for fishing [9] .
There are river perch , common carp (common carp), crucian carp , and pike in the lake.
Interesting Facts
On February 15, 2013, a Chelyabinsk meteorite entered the Earth’s atmosphere over Lake Big Donks [10] .

According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Irtysh basin district , the water sector is Tobol from the confluence of the Uy river to the city of Kurgan, and the river sub-basin of the river is Tobol. The river basin is the Irtysh [2] .
