Geography
The area of the commune is 44.49 km². 18.1% of the territory is occupied by agricultural land; 46.6% are forests; 1.6% - settlements and roads and the remaining 33.7% are not used at all (mountains, glaciers, rivers) [1] .
Population
As of December 31, 2012, the population of the commune is 461 people. As of 2000, the gender composition of the population was as follows: 49.5% were men and 50.5% were women [2] . The population distribution by age groups was as follows: 12.4% - less than 9 years old; 7.7% - from 10 to 14 years; 4.9% - from 15 to 19 years; 12.9% - from 20 to 29 years; 12.2% - from 30 to 39 years; 14.4% - from 40 to 49 years; 15.5% - from 50 to 59; 8.4% - from 60 to 69 years; 6.7% - from 70 to 79 years; 3.6% is from 80 to 89 years old and 1.3% is over 90 years old [3] .
