History

19th Century - Early 20th Century

The village of Zueva is indicated on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834 [2] .

ZUIEVO - the village belongs to captain Ivan Neplyuyev, the number of inhabitants according to the audit: 34 m. p. [3] (1838)

As the village of Zueva, it is marked on the map of Professor S. S. Kutorgi in 1852 [4] .

ZUEVO - the village of gentlemen Neplyuev, on a country road, the number of yards - 16, the number of souls - 34 m. [5] (1856) (1862)

According to the map from the “Historical Atlas of the St. Petersburg Province” of 1863, the village was called Zueva [6] .

In 1870-1871, temporarily liable peasants of the village bought their land allotments from N. I. Nelyuev and became the owners of the land [7] .

In the 19th century, the village administratively belonged to the 2nd camp of the Luga district of St. Petersburg province, at the beginning of the 20th century - to the Poddub volost of the 4th zemsky district of the 4th camp.

According to the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, the village of Zuevo was part of the Berezitsky rural society [8] .

Soviet period

According to the topographic map of 1926, the village was called Zueva and consisted of 15 peasant households .

According to 1933, the village of Zuyevo was part of the Poddubsky village council of the Luga region [9] .

According to 1966, the village of Zuevo was also part of the Poddubsky village council [10] .

According to 1973, the village of Zuevo was part of the Shiltsevsky village council [11] .

According to 1990, the village of Zuevo was part of the Retyunsky village council [12] .

Post-Soviet Time

In 1997 and 2002, there was no permanent population in the village of Zuyevo of Retyunsky volost [13] [14] .

In 2007, there was also no permanent population in the village of Zuevo of the Retyunsky Joint Venture [15] .

Geography

The village is located in the southern part of the district, south of the highway 41K-668 ( Retyun - Poddubye ) and north of the highway 41K-681 (highway Pskov - Kreni ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 16 km [15] .

The distance to the nearest railway station Serebryanka is 13 km [10] .

Near the village flows the Rybinka River.
