History
The Medal "For Long and Impeccable Service" was established by legislative decree of January 6, 1962 No. 112 to reward non-commissioned officers or rank and file for perfect service for at least 15 years, while documented facts of excellent service are required.
Description
The medal is made of bronze and is a sixteen-pointed star, eight of which are in the form of a pointed dihedral ray, and eight are in the form of a bundle (radiance) of pyramidically located different-sized rays. In the center is a round medallion of red enamel with a border in the form of a laurel wreath. In the medallion three hands protruding from the edge holding a torch, the flag of Syria in colored enamels, a saber framed by two laurel branches. Images are gilded, a saber - silvering.
There are several types of images of the Syrian flag in the coin, as the adoption of the new state flag.
The medal is attached to the ribbon using a ring.
The ribbon is red in color with a wide (7 mm) golden stripe in the center, encumbered at the edges with white stripes, and two golden stripes (3 mm.) Encumbered with white stripes at the edges, 3 mm behind the edge of the ribbon.
