Alexei Markovich Kononov (born June 6, 1960 , Saratov ) is a Russian marathon runner and long-distance runner.

Career
Going in for sports at the institute, I received the first category in skiing. At 28, the super marathon began to run.

World and European Championships
European Champion in 100 km running 1997 in the individual and team classification. World Champion in 100 km 1993 in the team event. Seven years in the team.
