Silver
Navy crews and army landing regiments awarded silver medals. The sailor’s medal was different from the soldier’s. In 1714 , 1,000 medals were minted, in 1715 another 1,000 medals were minted, however, this amount was not enough to be awarded. In 1717 , at the request of F.M. Apraksin , another 1,500 medals were minted, which were enough in excess. The remaining 387 medals were returned to the Office of the Admiral.
Gold
144 officers were awarded the gold medal. Medals had various values: 100, 70, 45, 30, 11, and 7 chervonets. A gold medal was given along with the ribbon of the Order of St. Andrew . [one]
