Manos worked as a co-producer and screenwriter for the first season of the Soprano Clan series. In 1999, Manos won an Emmy Award for Best Drama Screenplay for his work on the Soprano Clan College episode. He shared this award with co-screenwriter, creator of The Soprano Clan, David Chase .
Then, he became a consulting producer for two seasons of the Shield series. He became the developer, producer, and screenwriter for the pilot of Dexter , the show's drama series Showtime. He was nominated for the US Screenwriters Guild Award for Best Drama Series for his work on Dexter's first season.
He successfully produced the award-winning film “ Assassin of a Leader, ” starring Holly Hunter and Bo Bridges for HBO. The film was nominated for 6 Emmys, three of which were victorious. He also won the CableACE Award for Best Film of the Year.
