The commune is located approximately 480 km south of Paris , 75 km east of Bordeaux , 50 km southwest of Perigueux [1] .

In the south of the commune flows the Dordogne River.

Climate

The climate is temperate oceanic [2] with an average level of precipitation, which falls mainly in the winter.
