Geography
The commune is located approximately 480 km south of Paris , 75 km east of Bordeaux , 50 km southwest of Perigueux [1] .
In the south of the commune flows the Dordogne River.
Climate
The climate is temperate oceanic [2] with an average level of precipitation, which falls mainly in the winter. Summer is long and warm, but also quite humid; there are no regular periods of summer drought. The average January temperature is 5 ° C, July is 18 ° C.
