Sahara ( Rus. Sahara ) - the debut studio album of the Israeli oriental metal band Orphaned Land .

Having crossed doom metal (though not orthodox) with ethnic music, the group managed to create its own style - oriental metal . ^[2] The influence of progressive music is also noted, but the most important is the Sahara mood. ^[3] On their 25th birthday, the band released a remastered version of the album on Century Media Records , as well as on all digital platforms. ^[4] An oriental metal introduction written by vocalist Kobi Farhi was included in the booklet of the CD version of the album. ^[four]
