(628) Christine ( Latin Christine ) is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on March 7, 1907 by the German astronomer August Kopff at the Heidelberg Observatory . It is unofficially believed that the asteroid was named after the wife of the discoverer, although an authentic etymology of the name is unknown [1] .
