Biography

The exact terms of the reign are unknown. Presumably, he began to rule with his father in 815 BC. e. or in the last years of his father’s reign. One source indicates the years of reign as 816-800 BC. e. [1] The latest known year of rule - the twelfth - is carved in the inscription on the roof of the Khonsu Temple in Karnak [2] . The ninth year is also marked on the roof of the temple. The transcripts were made and published by Helen Jacket-Gordon in 2003 [2] .
