Biography

Born on August 20, 1909 in a peasant family in the village of Shubnoye, Korotoyak district, Voronezh province (today - Ostrogozhsky district of the Voronezh region).

Since 1929 he worked on the collective farm of his native village (later called the collective farm “20 years of October” and “First of May” [1] ).

Since March 1941 he served in the Red Army. He participated in the Great Patriotic War, the commander of the machine gun department. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 2 degrees (1944) [2] .

After demobilization, he returned to his native collective farm, was appointed foreman of the field link. In 1948 he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor for outstanding achievements in labor activity.

He worked on the First May farm until 1965.
