For the uninitiated, it may seem that the music of the group contains a strange mishmash of various genres. [5] And this is especially true for Kaptein Kaos , which combines Caribbean rhythms, traditional Nordic folk, pure singing, polka, panic scream, grindcore blastbeats, carnival melodies, heavy groove, oriental instruments and a large amount of beer.
