He started playing football at the Maspalomas club, then he studied at the Las Palmas club school. In 2002, he signed a contract with the Vesindario Club, which competed in the fourth Spanish division ( Tercera División ), together with the Polo club, having won in his zone of this division, entered the third division ( Segunda División B ). In 2005, he moved to Atletico Madrid , where he played for the second team for two years. For the main part of "Atletico" Polo played only 1 match. On January 6, 2007, in the home game against Gymnastics from Tarragona (0: 0) [3] Polo took 88 minutes to replace Luciano Galletti .

In the summer of 2007, Polo returned to the Canary Islands, joining the Universidad de Las Palmas third division club. After two seasons at Universidad in the summer of 2009, he joined the Las Palmas club, which is playing in the second league [4] .
