Hamid Dawud Mohammed Khalil az-Zawi ( Arabic: حامد داود محمد خليل الزاوي ), better known under the pseudonyms Abu Abdullah ar-Rashid al-Baghdadi , Abu Hamza al-Baghdadi and Abu У غ араб араб араб араб араб араб араб (;;;;; 1959, Kingdom of Iraq - April 18, 2010, Tikrit , Salah al-Din , Iraq - former head of the “ Consultative Assembly of the Mujahideen in Iraq ” - the parent organization of eight Sunni Islamist insurgent groups ( Al-Qaeda in Iraq , Jaish al-Taif al-Mansur and others) [1] , then the emir of the “ Islamic State of Iraq ” in 2006-2010 [1] [2] [ 3] .April 18, 2010, it became known that Abu Umar al-Baghdadi was killed last weekend when US-Iraqi forces rocketed the house where al-Baghdadi was hiding near the city of Tikrit . April 25 of the same year, “Islamic State Iraq ”officially confirmed the death of its leader.

Biography
Very little is known about the past of Abu Umar al-Baghdadi. Apparently, he was a brigadier general of the Iraqi police during the reign of Saddam Hussein . [4] [5] [6]
In 2003, after the invasion of coalition forces in Iraq, he joined the Iraqi rebels . [four]
