Young years and education
Father Mesrop Aramyan was born on June 20, 1966 in Yerevan .
Graduate of the specialized physics and mathematics school named after A. Shaginyan (at Yerevan State University ). He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (1990) with a degree in engineering and theoretical physics, passed the theoretical minimum of L. D. Landau (1995-1996) and was included in the group of theoretical physics of V. L. Ginzburg (1998).
May 28, 1991 was ordained a priest of the AAC .
Labor
Since 1991 - founder, permanent director and editor-in-chief of the theological center "Gandzasar" [5] . To date, the Gandzasar Theological Center has published more than 80 publications.
Since 2002 - the founder and editor-in-chief of the spiritual and cultural radio station “Vem” [5] .
Since 2004 - the founder and permanent leader of the professional studio “Vem Media Arts” [9] . The studio shot a cycle of 12 documentaries about the environmental problems of Armenia and released 2 television programs: “Catechism” and “Spiritual Conversations”.
In 2006, he became a co-founder (along with a group of friends) of the Ayb Educational Foundation [10] .
2010 - screenwriter and producer of the documentary film “From Ararat to Zion” (Vem Media Arts studio), which tells about the centuries-old presence of Armenians in the Holy Land [11] . The film was awarded prizes at international film festivals [12] .
In 2011, the Ayb Educational Foundation created the Ayb School. Father Mesrop Aramyan is the chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ayb School and the author of educational programs [13] .
In 2013 - 2018 - Advisor to the President of the Republic of Armenia on volunteer education. [14]
2014 - Creative producer and author of the idea of the film “Book” (Vem Media Arts studio) [6] [7] .
Since 2014, he has been the head of the National Distinction in Education Program, a new educational initiative that the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia and Ayb Educational Foundation, in cooperation with Cambridge University and the Institute of Education of University College London (UCL), are implementing the Ayb School platform [2] [3] .
In 2016, he was elected a member of the Board of Trustees of the American University of Armenia [4] .
Since 2017 - co-founder and member of the Board of Trustees of the FAST Foundation. [one]

Priesthood
Father Mesrop Aramyan is a member of the Diocesan Council of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church and was twice elected as a deputy of the National Church Assembly from Artsakh [15] .

Rewards
On June 5, 2010, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan awarded Father Mesrop Aramyan the Order of Mesrop Mashtots [15] .
June 2, 2017 Mesrop Aramyan was awarded the medal "For Merit to the Fatherland", II degree. [17]
