The plant grows in southern Spain on limestone cliffs and cliffs. The Gibraltar variety is endemic to the Gibraltar Reserve. Inhabits the Atlas Mountains .
Leaves are glandular-hairy, from 5 to 15 millimeters in length. Stems from 7 to 12 centimeters tall contain from three to seven small with white flower petals.
