Yang Jun ( Chinese trad. 楊 炯 , ex. 杨 炯 , pinyin : Yáng Jiǒng , 650-695) is a Chinese poet from the Tang Dynasty. One of the Four Pillars . Known for its eight surviving fu .

Biography
Yang Jun was born in Huaain , the modern province of Shaanxi [1] . He was a child prodigy [2] , passed special exams for boys and received in 659 an official assignment to the prestigious Hongwen College at the age of nine [3] . Unlike other “pillars”, he spent most of his life in the imperial service in the capital Chang'an [2] . He later served as the magistrate of the Yinchuan region, where he was known as Yang Yichuan ( Chinese 楊 盈 川 , pinyin : Yáng Yíngchuān ). The only one of the "pillars" who died in the office [1] , [4] .
Creativity
Official bibliographies: The Tang Book and the 30 mention 30 scrolls of Yang Jun's works, but the Northern Song Chunwen catalog speaks of only 20 [1] .
It is believed that the shi did not succeed very well, and his best works are the eight surviving fu, especially The Enveloping Skies, The Star of the Old Man, and .
He wrote an influential preface to the collected works of Wang Bo , in which he criticizes the excessive formality of court poetry of the previous generation and praises the style of Wang Bo and Lu Zhaolin [3] .
