The following is a list of US protected areas with the status of “National Sea Coast” (10 objects) and “National Lake Coast” (4 objects). All fourteen territories are managed by the US National Park Service [1] . All coasts were formed between 1953 and 1975. Their total area is 3324 km².
National Seaside
- Nine of them are on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean , one on the shores of the Pacific .
