The East Siberian oil and gas province, which has not yet been adequately developed, is the main reserve for future growth in reserves and oil and gas production in Russia - the oil and gas province located in Yakutia , Krasnoyarsk Territory , and Irkutsk Region . [1] The largest oil and gas fields are Markovskoye , Verkhnechonskoye (discovered in 1978 ) [1] ; gas: Pelyatinskoe, Krivolukskoye, Yaraktinskoye ; oil and gas condensate: Srednebotuobinskoe .
In the Far East, the largest oil fields are located on Sakhalin . In the territory of Yakutia, 10 gas condensate fields were discovered, of which Ust-Vilyuiskoye , Sredne-Vilyuiskoye, and Mastakhskoye are developed . Far Eastern oil fields are promising.
