Content
Geography
The village of Sinyachikha is located in the lower right bank of the Sinyachikha River, located northeast of Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Tagil , 10 km north of the city of Alapaevsk , 1 km southwest of the fork in the regional roads Alapaevsk - Nizhnyaya Salda and Verkhnyaya Sinyachikha - Irbit . In the village is the Sinyachikha railway station of the historical Theological-Sosvinsky railway (formerly Mezhnaya) and the modern Sverdlovsk railway .
History
In the immediate vicinity of the village, in an abandoned mine at the beginning of the 20th century, the Bolsheviks killed the Grand Dukes and Princess Elizabeth Fedorovna, members of the Russian imperial family. Currently, a monastery was built on the site of their death.
