While drinking at a bar, a group of seven friends decide to punish the cities of and Issoire , which look too brazen on a map of France . After consulting with somnabul to verify the appropriateness of the enterprise, they proceed to action. Friends in groups go to the "convicted" cities and begin to play pranks. Arriving first, Brudge, pretending to be a minister, requires urgent military maneuvers. Benen, a “theologian” from Rome, reads from the church pulpit his famous “sermon” exalting lust. In Issoire, friends “finish building” a monument to Vercingetorigs , who for a long time was a horse without a rider: they set up naked Lesyur painted on it with paint. The story ends with a fun banquet in .
