History
At first, Red Jacket was used in the USA . On its first voyage, the ship set a speed record, sailing from New York to Liverpool . He reached Liverpool in 13 days, 1 hour, 25 minutes.
On April 24, 1854, the ship was sold to Pilkington and operated in the UK , and in 1883 to Portugal by Blandy Brothers.

Doom
In 1885, the ship was thrown ashore by strong winds on Madeira , where it was used as a blockchain with coal. There he was subsequently disassembled.
