History

until 1987

The Transcarpathian machine-building plant produced A-3 snowmobile amphibians , developed by Tupolev Design Bureau .

1987 - 1991

The enterprise was established in 1987 on the basis of the previously existing Transcarpathian Engineering Plant and had the task of mastering the production of Mi-34 helicopters, spare parts and components for them [3] . In Soviet times, the enterprise was an integral property complex, built on a plot of 30 hectares and included procurement, stamping, welding and tool shops, a machining workshop for assemblies and assemblies, as well as a heat treatment shop and paint and varnish coatings with a total area of about 50 thousand . m² [4] .

In 1989, it was decided to mass production of the Mi-34 in Transcarpathia, but before the collapse of the USSR, only one Mi-34 managed to be produced here, which was transferred to the OKB to them. Mile for testing.

After 1991

In the first years after the declaration of independence of Ukraine, in the early 1990s, the plant was the only enterprise in Ukraine whose production capacities made it possible to begin production of helicopters.

On March 3, 1995, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine included the plant in the list of enterprises and organizations of Ukraine that are not subject to privatization in connection with their national significance [5] .

As part of the aviation industry, in the mid-2000s, the company completed orders for the seats of pilots and crew for the Russian RSJ and Tashkent Il-114 , but the main customer for the company's products was the Dolgoprudnensky design automation bureau. All this time, the engineering and technical potential of Transcarpathian software remained unused [4] .

According to the results of 2007, the company sold products worth 1.1 million hryvnias , while receiving 200 thousand hryvnias of net loss [4] . In the first half of 2008, the possibility of producing the KT-112 Angel angel light helicopter developed by the Ukrainian Vertical Design Bureau LLC was considered.

On August 18, 2008, the Economic Court of the Transcarpathian region ruled on the bankruptcy of the plant [3] .

On May 26, 2010, the head of the Transcarpathian ODA, Oleksandr Ledida, said at a press conference that up to 70% of factory equipment was dismantled and sold as scrap metal [9] [10]

After the creation of the Ukroboronprom state concern in December 2010, the enterprise was included in the concern.

As of the beginning of July 2011, the economic situation of the enterprise was dysfunctional [3] , wages of workers were paid with a delay and not in full [11] .

In 2013, the company fulfilled the order of the Ministry of Defense for the manufacture of pilot seats for the An-32 aircraft of the Indian Air Force, which underwent repairs at the 410th civil aviation plant . The contract value amounted to 1.3 million hryvnia [12] .
