Geography
It is located at the foot of the Zagan ridge on the Shebertuy river (Dr. Sheberte - “ [with] dense forest ”, the left component of the Zagan river, the right tributary of the Khilok ), 13 km north of the confluence of Zagan in Khilok , 40 km north-east from the district center, the village of Bichura , on the regional highway P441 Mukhorshibir - Bichura - Kyakhta .
