Biography
Musical career
Lina several times participated in the competition Melodifestival - the national selection of Sweden for Eurovision . She made her debut at Melodifestivalen 2002 with her sister Hannah Hedlund by performing the song "Big Time Party" and taking 9th place in the final. In 2003 she has already performed solo with the song “Nothing Can Stop Me”, which fell into the second chance round, but did not reach the final. In the same year, Lina released the single “Lady Bump”.
In 2007, Lina became a member of Alcazar , giving her first concert in London [1] [2] . The group also sang Tess Merkel and Andreas Lundstedt . The group performed in an updated line-up at Melodifestivalen 2009 with the song “Stay the Night”, reaching the finals and taking 5th place there. In 2010, the group reached the second chance round with the song “Headlines”, in 2014 with the song “Blame It on the Disco” it went straight to the finals and took third place there.
In 2014, the entire Alcazar group announced the results of the Swedish vote at Eurovision 2014 . May 22, 2015 Lina as a member of the Swedish jury participated in the jury voting at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. The official judges of the Swedish jury were announced the day after the final of the competition [3] .
Cinema, theater and television
In 2005, Lina played in the musical “The Sun, Air and Water” ( Swede. Sol, vind och vatten ) by Ted Gerdestad at the Chinese Theater . In 2011, she became the host of the Copycat Singers music show on TV3, and also became a video clips reviewer on digitallive.eu. Lina is also known as a voice actress: she voiced a number of characters in the Swedish dubbing of full-length cartoons.
Personal life
Married to musician and TV host Nassim al-Fakir . March 20, 2012 gave birth to a son Tilo. October 6, 2016 [4] gave birth to a son, Eide [5] .
