Biography
Portrait of Billy Waters by David Wilkie
Since 1805 , he studied in London at the Royal Academy of Arts , where he was friends with John Jackson .
In 1814-1828 he visited European countries, in 1840 - the Middle East .
He painted paintings on historical themes and portraits (Blind Violinist, 1806, National Gallery , London).
