Sarazh ( Italian. Sargia , fr. Serge ; from the Latin. Sericus "silk") is a type of weaving of a fabric , sometimes a colloquial name for a type of fabric. Fabric with a twill weave can be produced from yarn of any composition, for virtually any purpose.
It differs from other types of fabric weaving in that with each subsequent thread the system of intersection of the threads shifts by 1, 2 or more threads, which gives it a distinctive “ diagonal ” appearance (one of the everyday names).
It produces cotton , silk or artificial fabric with a diagonal interweaving of threads; It is produced mainly one- colored and printed . Used as lining, dress, technical, etc. fabric. For the production of workwear is often used exactly 3/3 twill of various compositions.
