Located at the southern foot of the Zagansky Range on the left bank of the Khaytsygyr River (Khilka right tributary) 9 km north of its confluence with Khilok , 6 km west of the center of a rural settlement - the village of Petropavlovka , and 20 km north-west of the district center - village Bichura .
