Biography
Parents of Swiss origin. In his youth he played tennis, won the Brazilian championship 5 times, played at Wimbledon and for the national team in the Davis Cup .
In 1961 he received a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard University.
In 1961–1962 he worked as an intern at Credit Suisse [3] . Invesco . It was the first Lehmann company, where he had a 2% stake. She went bankrupt in 1966 [4] . In 1971, Lehmann, Carlos Alberto Sicupira and Marcel Herrmann Telles founded the Brazilian investment bank Banco Garantia . Personal life
In 1994, Lehmann suffered a heart attack [11] .
Lehmann was married twice and has five children. His first wife, Maria de Santiago Dantas Kental, was a psychoanalyst and died in April 2005 [9] . The second wife is Suzanne [9] .
In 1999 there was an unsuccessful attempt to kidnap his children in Sao Paulo [10] .
