The commune is located approximately 430 km south of Paris , 120 km east of Bordeaux , 11 km east of Perigueux [1] .

Climate
The climate is temperate oceanic [2] with an average level of precipitation, which falls mainly in winter. Summer here is long and warm, but also quite wet, there are no regular periods of summer drought. The average temperature in January is 5 ° C; in July it is 18 ° C.
