History

Formation and the album "We All Have Demons" (2007–2010)

The group was formed in 2007 and Garrett Rapp, Justin Heather, Ramon Mendoza, John Bross and Steve Carey, who were members of other broken groups, were included in the initial composition. All participants, with the exception of Justin Heather, were part of The Killer Apathy [2] [3] . On June 9, 2009, the band signed with Rise Records to release their debut album We All Have Demons [4] . In 2010, under the wing of Rise Records, the band went on tour and also presented a video for the song “Humannequin” [5] .

The album “My Devil in Your Eyes” (2010–2012)

At the end of 2010, the band began writing a second album and re-entered the studio with producer Joe Sturgis [6] . The second album, My Devil in Your Eyes, was released on March 11, 2011. Shortly before the album was released, bassist Justin Heather left the band for personal reasons. Soon after his departure, Anthony Vic took his place, but only on a session basis [7] . During the tour, Heather was reunited with the group and Vic left the band [7] . Then, after the “Scream It Like You Mean It 2011 Tour” tour, guitarist John Bross left the band to focus on his family and releasing his own clothing line. Heather took on the duties of a rhythm guitarist and the bass was recorded during live performances. During the 2012 “Fire & Ice” tour, Ryan Pulis became the band's new bass player. In August 2012, it was announced that lead guitarist Ramon Mendoza was taking less part in the development of the band in order to care for their newborn child. Former touring member Devin King and merchandise manager took Ramon's place in the group.

Album "Know Hope" (2012–2014)

By mid-2012, the group began writing the Know Hope third album and planned to release it either in 2012 or in 2013 [8] [9] . The group wrote 22 songs, 12 of which were included in the album [10] . The recording of the album took place in the period October-December 2012.

Aaron Sanders became the new rhythm guitar player, replacing John Bross. Also, bassist Ryan Pulis was kicked out of the band, and Justin Heather switched the bass back to the rhythm guitar. On January 31, 2013, the band released a lyric video for the song “Learned Behavior” via Alternative Press ; A song list, album cover, and release date were announced on March 26 [11] . March 20, 2013 label Rise Records released stream album on YouTube [12] .

January 1, 2014 it became known that The Color Morale will perform on the "Vans Warped Tour 2014" [13] .

Contract with Fearless Records and the album “Hold On Pain Ends” (2014 — present)

April 10 it became known that the label Fearless Records has signed a contract with The Color Morale, and also announced a new album Hold On Pain Ends , which will be released later in 2014 [14] . On April 11, the band introduced Mike Honson as a replacement for Justin Heather on bass on the Facebook page [15] . On May 27, the group announced that they had finished recording the album [16] . On June 23, 2014, the first single, “Outer Demons”, was released on iTunes along with a lyric video [17] .

On July 2, the cover and the list of compositions were made public, and pre-order of the album became available [18] . Two weeks later, the band released their second single, "Suicide; Stigma", in which Davey Stevens from We Came as Romans appeared as a guest vocalist [19] .
