History
According to the map from the “Historical Atlas of the St. Petersburg Province” of 1863, the Zasabye wasteland was located on the site of a modern village [2] .

According to the statistics on the national economy of the Luga district of 1891, the wasteland Zasobye with an area of 202 tithes belonged to the peasant of the Gdovsky district A. Petrov, the wasteland was acquired in 1886 for 2200 rubles [3] .
In the XIX - early XX centuries, the wasteland administratively belonged to the Osminsky volost of the 2nd zemsky district of the 1st camp of the Gdovsky district of the St. Petersburg province .
In the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, the village of Zasobye is not listed [4] .
According to the topographic map of 1926, the village was called Zasabye and consisted of 7 peasant households .
According to 1933, the village of Zasobye was part of the Nikolaev village council of the Osminsky district [5] .
According to 1966, the village of Zasobye was part of the Nikolaev village council of the Luga region [6] .
According to the data of 1973 and 1990, the village of Zasobye was part of the Relsk village council [7] [8] .
According to 1997 data, 6 people lived in the village of Zasobye, Relsky volost, in 2002, 8 people (all Russians) [9] [10] .
In 2007, 10 people lived in the village of Zasobye, Osminsky SP [11] .
Geography
The village is located in the northwestern part of the region near the highway 41K-673 ( Rel - Nikolaev ).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 27 km [11] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Moloskovitsy is 86 km [6] .
The village is located on the right bank of the Saba River.
