The book “The Anti-aircraft Brotherhood of Sevastopol” and its author were given by Admiral S. E. Chursin , the former commander of the Red Banner Black Sea Fleet [3] :
This book is interesting for its main character. It would be legitimate for them to be the narrator himself. After all, he writes about what he saw, felt, realized, did. But the main characters of the book were, above all, those who are no longer alive, who fell on the battlefield and therefore will never tell about themselves. They - along with living heroes - grow into a single generalized image, whose name is the Soviet people! ... In order for these courageous people to be forever remembered as they were, to help us live, fight, go forward, and former war veterans take up the pen. That is why I strongly, heartily advise you to read this true book.
