The recording of the album began while working with the previous label Lost Highway [12] . The Adams III / IV album was released on December 14, 2010 via the PAX AM (Pax Americana Recording Company) recording label, which the singer created in 2004. III / IV could be ordered through the PAX AM online store, the bonus also included a digital bonus code for 11 digital tracks [13] [14] . The album reached number 59 in the US Billboard 200 charts in January 2011 [15] , as well as number 4 on the Top Independent Albums [2] and No. 15 Top Rock Albums [2] . The circulation exceeded 47,000 copies [16] .
