Nicholas (Niklot) II ( German: Nikolaus II .; Until 1180 - September 28, 1225 ) - Prince of Mecklenburg , ruled in 1219-1225 in Gadebusch.

The son of Heinrich Borvin I and his wife Matilda (Mehtilda) of Braunschweig - the illegitimate daughter of the Duke Heinrich Leo .

In 1219 (or 1218), he received from the father in administration a specific principality with a center in the city of Gadebusch.

He died on September 28, 1225 during the collapse of his dilapidated castle in Gadebusch (fell from a great height).

There is no information about his wife and children.
