Biography
In 1988, he graduated from high school in his hometown, after which he served in the Arab Army of Jordan for six years [2] .
In 1997, he received a scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece and entered the Theological Faculty of the University of Aristotle in Thessaloniki [2] .
In 2004, he arrived on Mount Athos and entered the Monastery of Grigoriat under the spiritual leadership of Archimandrite George (Kapsanis) [3] , where in 2006 he was tonsured a monk [2] .
In 2006 he arrived in Jerusalem , where in 2008 he was ordained to the rank of hierodeacon , and in 2010 - to the rank of presbyter with the elevation to the rank of archimandrite [2] .
He served as a speaker at the Patriarchal Office, teacher at the Patriarchal Schools of St. Demetrius in Jerusalem and Archangel Michael in Jaffa , rector of the Monastery of St. John the Baptist in the Old City of Jerusalem, rector of the community in Birzeit and a member of the Church Court of First Instance. In 2010, he was appointed a member of the Holy Synod of the Jerusalem Patriarchate [2] .
On March 4, 2013, by the decision of the Holy Synod of the Jerusalem Patriarchate, he was elected archbishop of Pell [4] and the patriarchal epitope in Irbet ( Jordan ) [5] .
March 16 in the temple of the Jerusalem Constantine-Eleninsky monastery was followed by his consecration ( name ). After signing the decision of the Holy Synod and its announcement by the Secretary of the Holy Synod, as befits in such cases, a solemn procession followed [3] .
On March 17 of the same year, in the Jerusalem Resurrection Cathedral, he was consecrated bishop of Pell with the elevation to the rank of archbishop. The consecration was performed by: Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilus III , Metropolitan Ishihii (Kondoyannis) of the Capitolias, Metropolitan Timothy of Bostria (Margaritis) , Metropolitan of Benedict (Tsekuras) , Archbishop of Gerasa Theophanes (Hasapakis) , Archdiocese of Dieriopheas (Archbishop) , Archdiocese of Dieropheas (Archbishop) , Archdiocese of Dieropheas (Archbishop) , Archdiocese of Dieropheas (Archbishop) Archbishop of Constantine Aristarch (Peristeris) Archbishop Tabor Mefody (Liveris) Archbishop Sebaste Feodosy (Hanna) , Archbishop Qatari Makarii (Mavroyannakis) and Archbishop Hierapolis Isi op (Fakitsas) [3] .
