Division Creation
The 306th Assault Aviation Division was formed by the decision of the GKO of the USSR on March 19, 1943 [1] as part of the aviation of the High Command Reserve.
Division
The 306th Nizhnedneprovsk Red Banner Order of Suvorov, the assault aviation division, was disbanded on March 19, 1946 as part of the 10th assault aviation corps of the 17th Air Army of the Southern Group of Forces at the airport of Timisoara ( Romania ).
