Geography

The village is located in the forest-steppe , within the Ishimskaya plain , belonging to the West-Siberian plain, 7 km from the left bank of the Irtysh River . The terrain is flat. The height of the center of the settlement is 92 meters above sea level [1] . In the vicinity of the village common black earth [3] .

The village is located in the suburban area of Omsk (separated from the city limits by the railway), 19 km from the city center. The distance to the district center of the village Rostovka - 31 km [4] ..

Climate

The climate is sharply continental , with pronounced climatic seasons and with significant temperature variations throughout the year (according to the Köppen climate classification - humid continental climate (Dfb)).
